Zulte is a municipality located in Flanders and in the Flemish province of East Flanders, in Belgium. The municipality comprises the towns of Machelen, Olsene and Zulte proper. On January 1st, 2000 Zulte had a total population of 14,528 (7,256 males and 7,272 females). The total area is 32.91 kmē which gives a population density of 441.45 inhabitants per kmē.
