Zaporiz'ka oblast' (Запорізька область in Ukrainian) is an oblast' ( province) of southern Ukraine. Its capital is Zaporizhzhia.

This oblast' is an important part of Ukraine's industry and agriculture.

The area of the province is 27,200 km²; its population (as of 2004- 05-01 ) is 1.9 million.

• Enerhodar - home for the Zaporiz'ka nuclear power plant
• Melitopol'
• Zaporizhzhia
