Yulara is an isolated town in Australia's Northern Territory with approximately 2,000 inhabitants.

It is about 20 km from world heritage site Uluru and 50 km from Kata Tjuta.

It was created in 1984 as an infrastructure hub to support tourism to the Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. The new airport makes it possible to reach the area in a few hours from Sydney, Melbourne or Cairns, where previously visitors had to travel five hours on a 400 km road from Alice Springs, the closest town which is located to the northeast.
