Yuki Kajiura (梶浦 由記) is a Japanese composer and producer who has provided the music for several popular anime series, including .hack//SIGN and Noir. She has also provided musical compositions for Aquarian Age, Madlax, Gundam SEED and one of the Kimagure Orange Road movies. Yuki was born August 6, 1965. She now resides in Tokyo, Japan.Among her live-action soundtracks is Boogiepop and Others, based on the Boogiepop novels.
Among her most popular songs include "Aura", "Obsession", "Key of the Twilight", and "The World" from .hack//SIGN; "Canta Per Me", "Himitsu", "Indio" and "Salva Nos" from Noir; and "Kyosuke #1" from Kimagure Orange Road: Summer's Beginning.
In 2003, Yuki Kajiura released a new album, Fiction, that is also distributed in the United States by Pioneer USA. She performed and promoted the album at Anime Expo 2003 in Anaheim, California.
Yuki Kajiura is also half of the band See-Saw (the other half is Chiaki Ishikawa) and starter of the band FictionJunction , whose only songs have been with vocalist Yuuka Nanri . As Seesaw, Yuki has created soundtracks for
Yuki Kajiura also composed the movie scene soundtrack for the space SF epic, Xenosaga Episode II: Jenseits von Gut und Bose, which was released in Japan on June 24, 2004.
