You've been framed is the name of a British television show, produced by Granada for ITV where viewers send in humorous videos (often with somebody suffering pain e.g. running into a tree).

During the show, the funny video clips are played and the person who sent it in received £250. Towards the end of the show, the studio audience votes for which clip was the best of the night and the winning clip takes home £1000.

A segment during the show is set-up, where those filming the clip set it up so that a funny event deliberately happens. The aim of this is to fool the host into believing that the clip is real. But if they find out its a fake, you could be named, framed and shamed on national TV.

The show has had 3 hosts during its lifetime:

Jeremy Beadle, host from 1990–1997
Lisa Riley , host from 1998 to 2003(?)
Jonathan Wilkes , host from 2004 (?)

The show is similar in format to a number of shows worldwide, including America's Funniest Home Videos and Australia's Funniest Home Video Show.
