The Yehat are a fictional race of beings featured in the sci-fi Star Control computer game series.

The Yehat are fearsome and honorable birdlike creatures who were allied with the Alliance of Free Stars (the protagonists) in Star Control I.

In Star Control II, they had become Ur-Quan battle thralls, but once the protagonist brings them evidence that their adopted children, the Shofixti, are still alive, they will ally with the humans once again.

The Pkunk are an offshoot of the Yehat race.

Yehat life is governed by one Queen, who rules over the various Yehat Clans. Historically, this has been one from the Veep-Eep Clan, but at the end of Star Control II a Pkunk Queen was chosen.
