Yabloko, or Yabloko Russian Democratic Party ( Russian: Росси́йская Демократи́ческая Па́ртия "Я́блоко"; English transliteration: Rossiyskaya Demokraticheskaya Partiya "Yabloko") is a Russian liberal party, led by Grigory Yavlinsky, which aims for, among other goals, the maintenance of Russia's territorial integrity, creation of high-quality public health and education systems, and Russia's application to the European Union. Some consider Yabloko to be a party of the social democrats. The party itself decided to join the Liberal International.
It is a minority party at the Duma. After the raising of an entry barrier of a 5% of the votes to get seats in the parliament in 2004, its future has been doubtful. The party has opposed the war in Chechnya.
90% of party's funding comes from Yukos owners.
