YPbPr is a colour space used in video electronics. It is numerically equivalent to the YCbCr colour space, but is designed for use in analogue systems whereas YCbCr is intended for digital video.

The following equations can be used to derive Y, Pb and Pr from R, G and B:

Y = + 0.299R + 0.587G + 0.114B Pb = + 0.564(B - Y) Pr = + 0.713(R - Y)
