Xenophon Overton Pindall ( 21 August 1873 - 2 January 1935) was a Democratic governor of the U.S. state of Arkansas.

Xenophon Overton Pindall was born at Middle Grove in Monroe County, Missouri. He attended Central College in Missouri and earned his law degree from the University of Arkansas in 1896.

Pindall served as a member of the Arkansas House of Representatives from 1902 to 1906. He ran unsuccessfully for the post of Arkansas Attorney General in 1906 and later that year was elected to the Arkansas Senate.

John Isaac MooreJohn Isaac 'Ike' Moore ( 7 February 1856 18 March 1937) was a Democratic governor of the U. state of Arkansas. Ike Moore was born in Lafayette County, Mississippi. Moore graduated from the University of Arkansas in 1881. He studied law and was admitted to was president of the Senate and replaced him as governor. At the end of the legislative session in May, Pindall was chosen as the new president pro tempore and ascended to the Governor's office.

Martin served as Governor of Arkansas for three days in 1909 after the expiration of the state senate term of Xenophon Overton Pindall, who was acting governor during the unexpired term of John, who served as acting governor for three days.

During Pindall's administration, a pure food and drug law was passed, the Ozark National ForestThe Ozark National Forest is one of three National Forests in the State of Arkansas. The Ozark National Forest encompasses 1. 2 million acres (4,900 kmē) primarily in the scenic Ozark Mountains in northern Arkansas. The forest contains the tallest mountai was created, and laws against price discrimination were enacted.

After leaving office Pindall won renown as a criminal lawyer. Xenophon Pindall died on 2 January 1935. He is buried in Arkansas City, Arkansas. The town of Pindall, Arkansas is named for him. His law office in Arkansas Cityis on the National Register of Historic Places.
