The World Eaters are a section of the Chaos Space marine army in the tabletop game Warhammer 40K. They are worshippers of the god Khorne, and live for nothing more than to spill blood in His name. Their Primarch (founding father) Angron was one of the first to join with Horus during the Horus Heresy.

In play, the World Eaters have a brutal way of fighting. They have no strategy, they merely rush forward, killing at close range. They have little to no long range weapons, but can destroy any other army up close.

Their current hero is Kharn the Betrayer, who epitomises all things destructively evil. He was killed just as Horus was killed, but only after mounting up an extremely large pile of felled oponents. He was carried off and was revived and continues to wreck havoc on the Imperium to this day.
