Worf ("wo'rIv" in Klingon) is a Klingon in the Star Trek fictional universe. This character appears in the television series and and in movies based upon The Next Generation series. Worf is played by actor Michael Dorn.The character was the first regular Klingon character to appear in Star Trek and has also appeared in more Star Trek episodes than any other character.
As a child, Worf was adopted by a human couple, the Rozhenkos, therefore his legal name is Worf Rozhenko, however he never uses it. His son, Alexander Rozhenko, does however.
Worf is the son of Mogh and the grandson of Colonel Worf. His parents are deceased. His brother Kurn's memory was erased, and Kurn is currently living with his father's friend Lorgh.
