Word grammar is a grammar model developed by Richard Hudson . It is based on the systemic functional grammar and includes ideas of other grammar models as well. Word grammar is in the tradition of cognitive linguistics, modeling language as part of general knowledge and not as a specialised mental faculty. This is in contrast to Chomsykan linguistics.
