The WonderSwan is a handheld game console developed by Koto and Bandai. It was developed by the late Gunpei Yokoi, and it competes with Nintendo for mainly the 32-bit handheld gaming market. It was later replaced by the WonderSwan Color.

In March of 1999, Bandai released a portable gaming console in Japan that was designed to compete with the Neo Geo Pocket and Game Boy Color. The WonderSwan was available in ten case colors, playable both vertically and horizontally, and features a fairly large library of games.
