Home > Wing, Rutland

Wing is a village in Rutland, England. The 17th Century houses in Wing were built from quarried stone at nearby Barnack . The circular maze, which was cut from the turf of the village green, dates back to medieval times. It was probably made to provide penance for wrong-doers who were taken to the centre and left to find there way out on their knees.
