Home > Wimbledon station

Wimbledon station is a large train station in the south-east of London, currently served by the District Line ( Tube), South West Trains (Stagecoach), Thameslink (Govia), limited South Central Trains (Govia), and Tramlink.

From Wimbledon services to Central London, west London, the City, and Midlands can be obtained traveling northbound. Southbound trains provide services to the South West ( Bournemouth etc), other services south bound can shuttle you to Sutton.

At one point this station was able to provide rail services to West Croydon via the South Central [equivalent (prob. Connex)], this is now done by the successful Tramlink which took over the rote.. In the past this station was also able to provide services to Tooting Junction station via Merton Abbey station which was another way to get into the City.
