William Wilson Morgan ( January 3 1906 – June 21 1994) was an American astronomer.

He worked at Yerkes Observatory.

He won the Bruce Medal in 1958, the Henry Norris Russell Lectureship in 1961 and the Henry Draper Medal in 1980
