Wilfred Josephs (4th July, 1927 - 17th November, 1997) was a British composer.

Josephs most famously wrote the music for the TV series ' I, Claudius' and ' The World at War'. He is also noted for a Requiem ( 1963), an opera 'Rebecca' ( 1983), a ballet 'Cyrano' ( 1991) and two symphonies.
