Home > Who's closest

Who's closest is a Guessing game. It's played at parties and on long journeys.

Play starts with one player [the thinker] thinking of a random thought. The rest of the players then take turns to guess what the speaker was thinking of. Once everyone has guessed the thinker reveals the actual thought and everyone takes it in turns to justify why they were closest [The thinker should not express an opinion prior to this]. The thinker decides who was closest and that person becomes the next thinker.

The decisions of the thinker are often heavily influenced by how humorous the justifications were. Unless a particular guess was very good, the decision is based mainly on how good the justification was.
