Weifang (潍坊) is an important city in central Shandong province, China. It is famous for its kite production, and has a kite festival every year. It is divided into 4 districts: Weicheng, Hanting, Kuiwen and Fangzi; 2 counties: Changle and Linqu; and 6 county towns: Qingzhou, Zhucheng, Shouguang, Changyi, Gaomi and Anqiu. Nearby cities include Zibo to the west, Yantai to the east and Qingdao to the southeast.
