Wallace Humphrey White Jr (1877-1952). was a Congressman and a Senator from Maine. He served as Senate Minority Leader from 1944-1947, and the Senate Majority Leader from 1947-1949.

White was born in Lewiston, Androscoggin County, Maine on August 6, 1877.

He graduated from Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine in 1899. His grandfather, William Frye served as a Senator from Maine and President pro tempore.

White was elected as a Republican to the House of Representatives in 1916 and was elected to the United States Senate in 1930, reelected in 1936 and again in 1942. He retired in 1949.

White died in Auburn, Maine, March 31, 1952.
