The Wales Schools Debating Championships is an annual debating competition organised by CEWC-Cymru. The Championships are open to all secondary schools and further education college s in Wales. From each of eight regional rounds, one team of two students is selected to participate in the national quarter-final s. Following these and the semi-finals, the Final takes place at the Temple of Peace, Cardiff. As well as being named champions, the winning team of two represents Wales, along with three other students, at the following year's World Schools Debating Championships .1 Past winners
