WCFL AM1000 Chicago, Il is a 50,000-watt AM radio station located in Chicago. There have been a number of callsign changes over the years. The call is now WMVP and features a sports format. In the late 1980s the callsign was WLUP, named after the downtown area called the Loop. The station was previously owned by the Chicago Federation of Labor giving the station its callsign WCFL.

The transmitter is located in Downers Grove west of Chicago and, at night, the signal is most intense to the east toward the city, according to FCC rules. The nighttime signal takes it east to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania and beyond due to the directional antenna pattern .

Some famous announcers on WCFL include Larry Lujack, Wolfman Jack and Dick Biondi .
