Vienne is a département of FranceThe French Republic or France ( French: Republique francaise or France is a country whose metropolitan territory is located in western Europe, and which is further made up of a collection of overseas islands and territories located in other continents., located in the centre of the country, named after the Vienne Riveron the River Vienne The Vienne River is a river in France. It is a tributary of the Loire. Its length is 372 km. It rises in Correze, at the foot of Mont Audouze, on the Plateau de Millevaches. It reaches the Loire at Candes-Saint-Martin ( Indre-et-Loire).
