The USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-G was the seventh Federation Starship Enterprise. This Enterprise existed at some point between the 24th and 26th centuries. Nothing else is known about her or her crew.

In the early planning stages of , the series was originally planned to take place about 200 years after the missions of the original Enterprise crew (Kirk, Spock, et al). The ship was to be named the USS Enterprise, NCC-1701-G. The plans were later revised so that the series would take place about 80 years after the missions of the original Enterprise, and the ship name was revised to Enterprise-D.
