The UNAM Pumas are a Mexican football team. They have won the Mexican league 4 times. The current coach of the team is the famous football player Hugo Sánchez.

Pumas is the current Champion of the Mexican league, after winning the championship 2004 defeating the Chivas of Guadalajara. Their home ground is the Estadio Olimpico , which was the setting for the 1968 Summer Olympics.

The team enjoys wide support from Mexican youth, especially from the UNAM itself. Typical rivals include Mexico City teams América and Cruz Azul, and Jalisco-based Atlas and Chivas de Guadalajara.
