UBB.classic (formerly Ultimate Bulletin Board, or simply UBB) is an Internet forum software package originally written by Ted O'Neil of Infopop Corporation in 1996. It is written in Perl and uses a flat file system. The current version of the software is 6.7.2, and is currently written by Charles Capps.

1 End of life

Infopop has recently announced that the 6.7 series will be the last versions of UBB.classic. In the spring of 2005, Infopop has a new product planned that is yet to be named. The new product will replace UBB.classic as well as UBB.threads, and will use PHP/ MySQL.
