Home > Tuscarawas River

The Tuscarawas, colloquially the Tusk, is a medium-sized river in northeastern Ohio, an important tributary of the Muskingum. It flows through (among other places) Canal Fulton and Massillon and joins another river to form the Muskingum near Coshocton.

In places the Tusk is connected to the Ohio and Erie Canal and feeds the canal with water, particularly in Stark County.

The Tuscarawas River is formed by the confluence of the Mohican and Kokosing Rivers in Coshocton County, Ohio.
