Tribute bands are a form of band that imitates a more famous person or persons by performing songs by them and imitating their act. An example are Beatles tribute bands, which are bands that attempt to look and sound like and perform the songs of the Beatles.

1964 - The Tribute -- A band that performs all early Beatles songs and the occasional "Birthday" when it's someone's birthday.

Beatlemania -- A website for former cast members of a Broadway tribute band, Beatlemania, which ran from 1976 to 1980 and was made into a film in 1981. "Not the Beatles...but an incredible simulation!"

The Bootleg Beatles -- British former Beatlemania members who decided to start their own tribute in the 1980s.
