The band Train started out with only two members, but by 1994 they became San Francisco's Train.

They started out by performing in coffee houses and other local club establishments. Later on they decided to form a full band and recruited Stafford and Charlie Colin. Scott Underwood was Charlie Colin's friend who came along.

By 1997 they went on tour and opened concerts for groups such as the Barenaked Ladies and Counting Crows.

Among their successes is their song "Ordinary", which is featured in the Spider-Man 2 movie.
