The Flying Lizards is a experimental music group that made several record albums: Deborah Evans (Deborah Strickland), David Toop , Steve Beresford and David Cunningham have been members at some time.

The album called The Flying Lizards was released in 1980 and single releases have included Summertime Blues 1978, Money 1979, The Laughing Policeman 1980 (which was not featured on an album and came out under the name The Suspicions ), Move On Up 1981. Sex Machine 1984 and Dizzy Miss Lizzie 1984.

Much of their material was innovative covers of older songs, such as Eddie Cochran's Summertime Blues and Barry Gooding Jr. 's Money (That's What I Want).
