The Chronic is the debut solo album from American gangsta rapper Dr. Dre. Having split from Ice Cube and Eazy-EEazy-E (b. Eric Wright September 7, 1963 March 26, 1995) was an American rapper who initially rose to fame as a member of the group N. Born in Compton, California, Eazy-E dropped out of high school and began selling drugs, using the profits to form a reco, Dre's first solo album established him as the biggest hip hopHip hop is a cultural movement that began amongst urban , African American & Puerto Rican youth in New York and has since spread around the world. The four main elements of hip-hop are MCing, DJing, graffiti art, and breakdancing. Some consider beatboxing artist in the US, and one of the biggest stars of his era. He was the mastermind of the bands Parliament and Funkadeli-influenced bass beats, that quickly moved into the mainstream. This album also jumpstarted the career of Snoop Doggy Dogg, who appears on several tracks.
