Home > Teddy Ruxpin

Teddy Ruxpin is a toy from the 1980's produced by Worlds of Wonder . It was an animatronic teddy bear that moved its lips as it read stories - an audio tape was placed in a deck built into the unit's back. Although Teddy Ruxpin was widely popular, Worlds of Wonder went bankrupt.

They also produced a friend for Teddy named Grubby whom he could synch up with to have conversations. Teddy was also the star of his own cartoon.

He was the predecessor of the Furby toy.
