The Suffolk Resolves denounced the " Intolerable Acts" (or "Coercive Acts") passed British Parliament. The Suffolk drafters called for the formation of militia units and also demanded a trade embargo on with Great Britain. In another of his famous rides, Paul Revere delivered a copy of the Resolves to the First Continental Congress in Philadelphia, where it was endorsed by the Congress on September 17.
