Stark County is a county located in the U.S. State of Ohio. As of 2000, the population is 378,098. Its county seat is Canton 6.
According to the U.S. Census Bureau, the county has a total area of 1,505 km˛ (581 mi˛). 1,492 km˛ (576 mi˛) of it is land and 12 km˛ (5 mi˛) of it is water. The total area is 0.82% water.

Stark County was named in honor of American Revolutionary War General John Stark.
