The Slovak Democratic and Christian Union ( Slovak: Slovenská demokratická a krestanská únia, SDKÚ) is a political party in Slovakia. It provides Slovakia's head of government, Mikuláš Dzurinda, and leads a coalition government including the Direction (Party), the Christian Democratic Movement, and the Alliance of the New Citizen. It has 28 of 150 seats in the National Council of the Slovak Republic, making it the second largest party, after the People's Party - Movement for a Democratic Slovakia.
