Silkeborg is a municipality in central Denmark, in the county of Aarhus, on the peninsula of Jutland. The municipality covers an area of 255 km², and has a total population of 52,360. It is also the home of where the Tollund man resides in the Silkeborg Museum. The town is divided north and south by the lake, the Silkeborg Langso , which at the eastern side of the town, resolves into the River Gudenaa. The town is notable for the large number of car dealerships located there.
