Shorne is a village in Kent, England south-west of Gravesend. It is part of Gravesham Borough . Like many other Kent villages, it is in two parts: Shorne village itself, lying south of the main Gravesend– Rochester road; and Shorne Ridgeway, a more modern group of detached houses lying to the south, close to the A2 main road.Within its boundaries is the beautiful Shorne Wood Country Park , a popular destination.
