Shane Rimmer (born 1932) is a Canadian-born British senior professional actor and voice actor with roles in an impressive 50 feature films under his belt. He has mostly performed in supporting roles. Appearances in widely known films include roles in Dr. Strangelove, Out of Africa and Gandhi or more recently Spy Game and Hellboy. In the earlier years of his career, there were several uncredited performances, among others for films such as Diamonds are Forever, You Only Live Twice and Star Wars.

Rimmer has a long association with Gerry Anderson. Thunderbirds fans may recognize him as the voice actor behind the character Scott Tracy. He also wrote scripts and provided uncredited voices for Captain ScarletCaptain Scarlet and the Mysterons often referred to in shorthand as simply Captain Scarlet is a science fiction television series produced by the Century 21 Television company of Sylvia and Gerry Anderson and first shown in Britain between September 1967 and Joe 90Joe 90 is a mid 1960s Sylvia and Gerry Anderson television show which used a form of puppetry called " Supermarionation", concerning the adventures of a young boy who could be programmed with any imaginable skill using a large computer called BIGRAT (an a, made a cameo appearance in an episode of Anderson's live-action UFOUFO DVD coverdepicting one of the distinctive"spinning top" UFOs. Note UK 12-Year-Olds rating. UFO was a British television science fiction series created by Gerry Anderson. Anderson had previously made a number of very successful marionette-based childre, starred in the unscreened pilot Space Police (later made into a series with other actors as Space Precinct ) and provided the voice for Anderson's stop-motion gumshoe Dick Spanner, P.I. .
