The Scheimpflug principle deals with the change of the focus plane when swinging the front standard of a view camera. When an oblique tangent is extended from the film plane , and another is extended from the lens plane , they meet at a point. To get the correct focus on your subject, a plane formed by the desired area of critical focus within the subject(s) should, if extended, intersect with the previously explained point. If this is acheived, then the focus should be as good as it will get from a particular location of the camera. Photographic terms
