Salvatore LoCascio, or Locascio, is a high-ranking member of the Gambino family of the New York Mafia. He holds the posititon of capo, or captain. He is also considered the acting capo of his father, Frank LoCascio 's crew and financial interests in The Bronx, while he sits in prison serving a federal term; having been a co-defendant for John Gotti's 1992 conviction. LoCascio grew up in Eastchester, New York and was a member of The Tanglewood Boys youth gang. In the early 90's, he became infamous even in the world of mobsters, when he killed his old friend, Pasquale Perello, Jr. as payback for his father Pasquale Perello, Sr. slapping him for being noisy in his restaurant.

LoCascio soon was made, and with his father in prison, assumed his crew and ascended the ranks, thanks to his close friend, John Gotti, Jr. . He incredibly managed to avoid any brushes with law enforcement until 1998, when he was arrested for being involved in the notorious Gambino shakedown of Scores , with Michael "Mikey Scars" DiLeonardo . He served five months of house arrest and paid a 1.5 million dollar fine.

In the new millenium, he was arrested for heading a string of white-collar crimes, most notably a phone scam that raked in almost $500 million in profit. It should also be noted that he has employed his entire family in a legitimate computer programs business since 1983 that grosses almost $15 million dollars a year, respectively. He currently resides in a multi-million dollar mansion on ScarsdaleScarsdale could be Scarsdale, New York in Westchester County Scarsdale, an ancient hundred of Derbyshire, England.'s posh Heathcote Rd. , and is easily one of the richest and "up-and-coming" mafioso in America.
