Saint Rémy de Provence is a commune of southern France, in the Bouches-du-Rhône département, in the former province of Provence. Population: 9,429.

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence is situated about 20 km (12 miles) south of Avignon, just north of the Alpilles mountain range.

The ruins of the Roman city of Glanum can still be seen, including a " Triumphal Arch".

Saint-Rémy-de-Provence was the birthplace of Nostradamus a 16th century author of prophecies.
