Robert Morris University is a private co-educational college founded in 1921. RMU offers more than 30 bachelor’s and 14 post-graduate degree programs. There are two campuses. The main 230 acre campus is located in Moon Township, Pennsylvania, a suburb of Pittsburgh. The Pittsburgh center is located in Pittsburgh’s central business district.

Robert Morris sports teams are nicknamed the Colonials. The school colors are blue and white. The Colonials compete in NCAA Division I (Division I-AA in football). The basketball team plays in the Sewall Center and the football team will soon play in the newly constructed Joe Walton Stadium.

Robert Morris College changed its name to Robert Morris University in 2002.

Robert Morris University is accredited by the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools. Current enrollment is approximately 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
