Rebecca Romijn-Stamos (born November 6, 1972) is a former supermodel currently making the switch to become an actress. She was born Rebecca Romijn in Berkeley, California to parents with Dutch ancestry.

While studying music at the University of California, Santa Cruz, she became involved with modelling and eventually moved to Paris, France for more than two years. Among other jobs, she modeled for the swimsuit issue of Sports Illustrated and for Victoria's Secret.

She married actor John Stamos in 1998. The couple separated in 2004. Professionally she has returned to using her birth name, an indication that the separation is probably permanent.
