Rallycross started in Great Britain in the end of the 1960's. The largest competition is the European Championship. Nordic drivers has dominated the sport, with names as Martin Schanche (norwegian - nicknamed Mr. Rallycross) and Kenneth Hansen (swedish) as probably the most famous. In rallycross several cars starts at the same time, and drives three or four rounds on a racing track. In the end it is a finale with the cars setting the best times. Rallycross it a relative small sport compared to rally and asphalt racing.
