In 1988 the entirety of Quiet Music 2 plus an edited version of Quiet Music 3 side one, were released on a compact disc titled Quiet Music. In 1999 this CD was released with a second disc containing Quiet Music 1 side one, Quiet Music 3 side two and a previously unreleased track.

This album has a light pastoral atmosphere unlike Steve Roach’s other albums.
