QRIO is SONY's next step after AIBO in entertainment robots. "Makes life fun, makes you happy!" It's a bipedal humanoid robot that is able to:
- walk on uneven and sloppy surfaces

- perceive depth through its two CCD cameras
- create a 3D map of its surroundings.
