Puzzlewood is an area of forest used by the Romans for Iron mining, using the method of shallow trenches to get at the iron ore. Now a tourist location of the forest. The confusing layout of the paths can mislead people into seeing 6 bridges rather than the two that you actually see.

Puzzlewood is often said to be one of Tolkeins inspirations for writing The Lord of the Rings.
