• Dodgeville is a small unincorporated community located at 47°05'N latitude, 88°34'W longitude, about two miles south of Houghton.
• Hurontown is a small unincorporated community located at 47°06'40"N, 88°34'25"W, adjacent to and surrounded by Houghton on the west, north and east.

2 Geography

According to the United States Census Bureau, the township has a total area of 301.9 km² (116.6 mi²). 291.7 km² (112.6 mi²) of it is land and 10.2 km² (4.0 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 3.39% water.

3 Demographics
