Patrick Lane (born March 26, 1939, Nelson, British Columbia) is a Canadian poet. He first had his poetry published while he was a nomadic logger in northern British Columbia. He has lived for many years with fellow poet Lorna Crozier. They live in Saanichton, British Columbia . He is the brother of poet Red Lane . His poetry tends to deal with humanity's harsh treatment of the Earth, and also often touches on the frequent violence of human interrelations.Works:
