Patmos is an island in Greece. One of the Dodecanese in the Aegean Sea, it has a population of roughly 2,500 and an area of 13 square miles (34 kmē). The churches and communities on Patmos are of the Eastern Orthodox tradition.

Patmos is the island to which John was allegedly banished, and where he is to have written the Book of Revelation.
